Julia Desher is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Georgia native who grew up in Alpharetta. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from the University of Georgia in 2015, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer University in 2019. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023.
Julia began her nursing career in the Emergency Department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Egleston, where she developed a strong foundation in pediatric acute care. After completing her graduate studies, she transitioned into a nurse practitioner role in the General Surgery Department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, working at both Egleston and Arthur M. Blank Hospital.
Julia lives in the Morningside/North Druid Hills area with her husband, Collin, their daughter, Lila, and their goldendoodle, Maui. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
She has a deep passion for pediatric care and is thrilled to be joining the team at Intown Pediatrics.
